In 11 km from Chisinau, over 2 hills we visit first nice 'red and white wine' fountains of the Milestii Mici winery. From there, over another hill, we cross the village by the same name, climb another hill and continue the route on the top of the ridge.

From the ridge we can see on the left the Costesti lake, on the right in a distance Chisinau outskirts, and town Ialoveni. Further we observe Bardar village on the left and soon come downhill to visit the famous ostrich farm.

The return path can be either on a different route over hills on country roads, through town Ialoveni, or on a highway Hincesti-Chisinau.

Typical duration: 7 hours
5 hours biking, 1 hour lunch and rest stops, 1 hour tour around the Ostrich Farm

Trip starts and ends in Chisinau. Departure at 9:00, return to Chisinau at 16:00.
Cycling distance: 47 km (half on country roads between agricultural fields + half on roads)

Please take your own food and drink (1,5 liters), small backpack
